Although our family doesn’t ski, we decided to join four other families that do ski, by going to the Tahoe area. We jointly rented a house for all of us to share in the warmth and in the chaos! We ate a lot of great food, went skiing and sledding, drank, sang karaoke, and repeated it the next day.
Although the trip didn’t really require an overlanding type vehicle, there were a LOT of overlanding vehicles to be seen. Additionally, this trip clearly defined many aspects of what overloading is – just being outdoors with friends and family and having a rig that can go most anywhere you need it to should the need arise.
